Great hosts. Room was immaculate. Air Con unit is new and clean. Lots of hot water in shower. Comfortable large bed. New, immaculate hot water-cold water machine to make drinks in the communal area Communal area was very clean. Quiet road only 5 min walk away from the temple. Lovely family who were helpful and speak English. Laundry was arranges for us and they can sort out any trips you might want. So lovely to dry out after we had spent 6 days in a more traditional room and the monsoon rains meant everything was damp. This was lovely to come to ans feel clean again. We had the downstairs room which also had a small seating area/porch ans front door - lovely to have a breeze and to enjoy sun and shade and watch street life. Lovely quiet neighbourhood. Would definitely recommend this place and spending time here rather than the city - we had 2 nights but wished we had relaxed more ans had longer.

We really enjoyed our stay, and Rifad was a great host - friendly and easy to talk to, knowledgeable about the attractions and helpful (he even arranged some printing work for us). The location was great for exploring Solo, central, yet quiet and safe. The room was spacious and clean, as was the bathroom, and there was space outside to sit and relax in a little garden. The delicious local breakfast and free coffee was a nice addition. We'll definitely choose Rifad's place for our next stay in Solo.

Floating Paradise is a secluded accommodation in the east of Karimunjawa, and is the only solar-powered accommodation on the island. Where do we even start? Tono and Rama are amazing. They helped us with nearly everything on our vacation. Transportation, activities, scooter rental (sorry guys), food... It's just the small details, that make this place feel more and more like home. Floating Paradise is such an amazing place, we couldn't think of a better stay in Karimunjawa. Thank you soo much, we would love to come back again :))

Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. This place deserves 1000 stars, not 10. Janur Bungalow truly is a paradise, not only because it's beautifully designed and decorated but, above all, because of its wonderful host and staff. I spent a week in Janur Bungalow and during all this time Bobby, the owner, was making sure I had everything and anything I needed, in fact, he became a friend rather than just a "host". I'm so happy I found this place and I wish I could've stayed there for a month. Another great thing about Janur Bungalow is the food - breakfasts are huge and beautifully served. There's juice, fruit, the best coffee in the world, traditional handmade (!) sweets and mie goreng or a pancake. The same goes for the dinner - it was the best Indonesian food I tasted in Java. Needless to say, everything is spotlessly clean.

Offering clean and comfortable rooms, Efata Homestay is located just a 5-minute walk from Borobudur Temple. Free WiFi access is available in all areas. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Indonesia. Our stay at Efata was excellent in all ways, mostly thanks to Ika and his wife who run this accommodation super professionally and made us feel totally at home. Rooms are spacious and clean, the house has a beautiful garden and is located in a quiet side-alley, 300m from Borobudur temple. Breakfast is delicious and you get to choose between continental or traditional, too. Highly recommended.

Ubytovanie 44 Guest House Syariah sa nachádza v destinácii Purwokerto a ponúka súkromné balkóny. Guesthouse 44 was my second home for a week in Purwokerto. The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!
