Just 300 metres from the historic Heidelberg Castle, this trendy hostel is centrally located in the Old Town. It offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi access throughout. Carmen, the owner of Lotte Backpacker, is super good. Her hospitality is very impressive. I would score more than 10. Location is excellent, just a few steps from the old town. I highly recommend everyone stay at this place.

Featuring a shared lounge, a terrace as well as a bar, Hostel Mannheim is located in the centre of Mannheim, 700 metres from University of Mannheim. Originally, I had booked a different hostel. However, when my friend Max raved about Mannheim Hostel, I trusted his recommendation and switched my reservation. I can confidently say Max wasn't exaggerating. My stay was exceptional. Its prime location, just a 10-minute walk from the city centre, combined with the comprehensive inclusions (making it convenient for backpackers to travel even lighter) and cost-effective extras, significantly enhanced my experience. The staff were the icing on the cake - always available and eager to help, ensuring guests felt pampered and at home. Given that Mannheim Hostel is relatively new, I sincerely hope they maintain their current ethos. Anyone visiting Mannheim or its vicinity should consider staying here; it ranks among the best experiences I've had in both hostels and hotels. The best part? Everything felt genuine; there was no sense of the staff "trying too hard." It's a given that Mannheim Hostel will be my top choice during my next visit. Bismarck Hostel Öhringen is located in the old city centre of Öhringen, 22 km from Heilbronn and 41 km from Ludwigsburg. Each room is fitted with a flat-screen TV. You will find a kettle in the room. Two options for breakfast: the "minibar" - there is coffee machine and sweets in the kitchen of the hostel with very reasonable prices (1 eur for coffee capsule, 1..1.5 eur for a piece of sweets, etc...), There is also "German style" bakery kiosk within 3..5 minutes walking distance (in front of the main railway station) which opens at 5:30am and offers sanwiches and coffe (for those who don't like sweets or bakery for breakfast (like me:)) which makes about 6 eur for good large sanwitch+coffee

This youth hostel is situated just a 10-minute walk from Stuttgart Main Station and the Königsstraße shopping mile. Jugendherberge Stuttgart has a terrace with panoramic views of central Stuttgart. Excellent hostel up a hill with a fantastic view. The amenities and staff were awesome, especially Sven who went out of his way to be helpful.... Thanks again Sven :)

Daheim Triberg features a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Triberg. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and free WiFi. At the hostel, each room has a wardrobe. Very nice and clean. Indoor camping might not be everyone’s cup of tea but what more do you need if you spend the whole day outdoors?

Set in Uhldingen-Mühlhofen, 28 km from Fairground Friedrichshafen, Hofgut Stefan offers accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. The hostel has family rooms. The rooms are located in an establishment where they grow fruit trees and make alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages from them. The establishment is magnificent, tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is good. There are common areas: living room, dining room, kitchen and patio. The kitchen is fully equipped (there are even condiments). Laundry can also be washed and hung out (2 euros for 1 load of laudry). Toilet paper, towels and hygiene products are also available. There's an enclosed bicycle garage. Check-in and check-out are also easy.

Situated in Heidelberg and with Central Station Heidelberg reachable within 400 metres, Steffis Hostel Heidelberg features a tour desk, allergy-free rooms, free bikes, free WiFi throughout the... I loved how spacious the rooms were, even in a mixed dorm of 10 everyone had enough space. The beds and the sheets were clean, The entire space was kept tidy. Well maintained bathrooms and toilets. The instructions were easy to follow.
