Attention has been given to all the details. It's a quiet location, no traffic noise, with refreshing ocean air. The cafe is lovely, and right next door. You have privacy, because there's no staff in the hostel itself. You can get to the konbini with a 15min walk. The owners are very friendly and kind.

Det var masse plass og fint fellesareal med kjøkken. Det var kode for å komme seg inn, så man kunne enkelt komme og gå slik man selv ønsket. Det var kiosk i nærheten og togstasjonen var bare et par 100 meter unna. Det var derfor veldig enkelt å komme seg rundt i byen.

It‘s like staying at someone’s home, really. The beds are comfortable, everything is clean, and the owner is very welcoming. Everyone got a little amuse bouche, so to speak, when paying in cash. And it was so delicious. I read a lot about the rules. At first I thought they seemed strict, but really it‘s just basic manners. Just don‘t be rude, I got my deposit back, no problem.
