Hotel Ter Brughe is located along one of the most beautiful canals at 5 min. walking distance from the 'Markt' with the belfry tower in the quiet quarter of St. Gillis. The house is a listed building from 1553 and the medieval vaulted cellar is refurbished to breakfast room along the canal. It's a protected house and therefore there is no lift in the hotel.

We had a superior room at a very good special rate. The room was attractive and comfortable. The location is excellent -- both quiet and convenient. The breakfast was OK -- more fresh fruit, perhaps cut up, would have been appreciated.

Excellent breakfast, good location, nice atmosphere. Price is ok.

This is not a 4-star hotel, but rather a 3-star. No shower, just bath. Rooms need some new furniture (or a cleaner look in general).
