The staff was so friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to staying there again. It was so peaceful. The scenery outside of our room window was incredible. We didn't want to leave. |

Great location within the old town walls, spacious room, lovely breakfast, very friendly staff and was perfect as we had our 5 month old with us. Would definitely stay here again. very minor thing ,no shower curtain around the bath/shower combo which made the floor tiles very wet when showering. |

We had family apartment in a nearby building, still within city walls. It is quite spacious and comfortable for 5 adults, also had a crib and sofabed. Both bath and shower. Nice restoration in 3rd floor of an old if not ancient building. Charming details include a variety of ceiling heights and views out over the rooftops. View at breakfast in main building on the city wall is superb! Arriving in Rothenburg after dark makes navigating tough, even with site- provided directions. Be ready to dismount and ask a friendly native as both the streets and their signs are tiny--charming, but tiny. |

Wonderful location, traffic-free and peaceful, but within a few minutes' walk of the centre of Rothenburg. Staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was copious and of good quality, served in a breakfast room with outstanding views over the Tauber valley. Rooms have equally lovely views. |

The location of the hotel overlooking the wall was breathtaking. The staff was very accommodating and easy to work with. We stayed in the apartment away from the inn. The rooms were very spacious and well appointed. Easy walk to the square and close to wonderful restaurants and bars. |

The hotel, built right into the medieval city wall, is amazing. Our two-room suite opened onto a patio atop the city wall, looking out over the Tauber River valley. The best breakfast selection we experienced in six German cities. Truly an extraordinary place. |

The size of the room - more like an upstairs apartment for our family. The decor was also very tasteful. Our room for our family of 4 was some way from the main facilities and felt a little isolated. |

The hotel has an amazing ambience, as part of the walled town and in a tranquil and peaceful area. The building is very quaint, well-decorated, has a beautiful feel. Great location just steps from the center square, down a small, quiet road. The staff were friendly enough. The room was wonderful, clean, and larger than expected. The breakfast room made me feel like royalty! No, it was really a gem. Slightly overpriced relative to other hotels but for me, well worth it for the experience of staying there. |
