The province of Ingenio is 27 kilometers from the island's capital and just 14 kilometers from Telde. It is situated on the slope of a hill with a maximum altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level in the Caldera Los Marteles massif and 310 meters high in the town of Ingenio itself.
