La Casona Las Cinco Calderas is a 17th century noble house converted into a rural hotel, located in the Cantabrian coastal countryside. It is on the route of the Camino de Santiago del Norte. It maintains original elements, such as the wooden beams, the coat of arms and masonry. The estate has 4,500 m2 of garden. It is located 28 kilometres from Santander. Somo beach is only 7.5 kms away, Langre beach is 4.3 kms away and Galizano beach is 2.6 kms away. Cabárceno Natural Park is 20 kms away, and Bilbao is 45 kms away by car. There are 4 golf courses nearby, in an area of 20 kms. Due to its location, it is an ideal area for hiking, fishing, surfing, golf... The house has different types of rooms, recently refurbished. All of them have en suite bathroom with free toiletries, wooden floors, Smart TV, excellent free WI-FI connection and heating. The hotel library has high-speed Wi-Fi connection specifically for teleworking, as well as a glassed-in lounge with a fireplace and beautiful views. There is a 24-hour bar, and a restaurant serving home-cooked dinners every day except Sunday. Breakfasts are homemade with local products and are served daily.
