Nestled in the central and tranquil market street of El Rastro, this hotel offer a privileged position near Puerta del Sol and within walking distance of Plaza Mayor, Prado Museum and Retiro Park.

Just off Calle de Atocha, which leads to the railroad station of the same name, the Cortezo offers comfortable yet simply furnished accommodation with contemporary furnishings.

Built in 1959, the hotel was last renovated in 1997 to offer you all modern comforts for a relaxing and memorable stay.

A well-located hotel

The double for single use was rather small; the air conditioning was located so as to produce a draught around the bed

We had a very nice room with a bit of a sitting area and a good sized balcony. The hotel's location is great - near subway and main tourist attractions.

The hotel had no Internet access.
