Nice sleep and good breakfast. Friendly staff at the reception. Good location.

The carpeting in the hallway was very dirty all 6 days of our stay, like after repair works. We surprised we did not see any improvement at the end.

The location of the hotel is very good for shopping and going to nice restaurants and bars in the evening. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

The key for the safety deposit box was ridiculous and the 50 Euro deposit for it was really exaggerated. They should really install electronic safety deposit boxes in the rooms as is normal in hotels of this category.

The hotel is near Barcelona's main shopping area: Garcia and Catalunya. The area surrounding the hotel is safe and located by several different type of shops: cafe shops, markets, restaurants, etc. It's convenient for taking Metro to visit other Barcelona attractions. The nearest Metro station is just a couple blocks away. In-room free wired high-speed internet.

Noises from upstair rooms and from streets are audible esp. at night.

the hotel was not clean, the triple room is not comfortable because the third bed is only a camp bed.

CNN chanell, only one we could watch since we didnt speak spanish, didnt work properly. Pillows were very bad and bed was very hard.

cleanliness

no complimentary water, or tea/coffee making facilities in the room, is just greed on the part of the hotel group in my opinion, for a roon that wasn't even particularly good value for money. I wouldn't stay there again on this basis. Also I mentioned this to the management at checking out, and was more or less ignored. Not great.
