Area information

The hotel is located in Calle Serrano, in the heart of the most famous shopping area in Madrid. Many of the city’s attractions are found nearby. Puerta del Sol, 1.5 km away, is one of the busiest and most well-known squares in Madrid. Here you will find the famous clock whose bells mark the traditional eating of the Twelve Grapes and the beginning of each new year. The Prado gallery, a kilometre’s walk away, houses one of the world's finest collections of European art, with works from the 14th century through to the early 19th century. Behind here you will find the Retiro Park, 1.5 km² of tranquil parkland and pretty gardens at the city’s heart.

Excellent decor. Very highly recommended for any traveler to Madrid. Very well located with a Metro (Tube) station at less than 100 mtr away. Easy to get to hot spot locations and good shops in the vicinity too. Highly recommended hotel.

Laptop in the room

The worse customer attendance I've ever seen. Reception Desk staff should be trained. Unfortunately I was feeling sick during my stay and didn't get any type of help. I had to go myself to the nearest pharmacy and maximum time allowed to leave the room after 12:00 was only one hour: "two hours is complicated". Considering the level of attendance, the price charged is outrageous.

The shower is amazing, the staff were very helpful, the location is great, especially if you are into shopping.

We had a family room. The r$oom was small, it was not easy to move around between the beds and to get to the bathroom.

Lovely rooms with jacuzzis, nice size, great part of town, walking distance from main attractions.

Terrible, terrible service, no food after midnight. No basic facilities like a kettle in the rooms, or trouser-press

Convenient to my firm's Madrid office and the provision of an internet enabled laptop in the room was a real benefit.

Couldn't find the instructions on how to use the bedroom telephone and also no notepad. Pen also had run out of ink!
