This is one of London's best centrally located hotels, on the edge of London's famed 'Theatreland' and close to cosmopolitan Covent Garden.

The Strand Palace Hotel has recently undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment (2007-2008) to its 500 bedrooms, public areas, restaurants and meeting rooms.

You can now experience the latest standards of comfort, together with everything you need right on the premises - from shops, restaurants and bars, to a sophisticated conference and banqueting centre.

As well as being extremely close to London's 'Theatreland' and Covent Garden, the Strand Palace is also close to the City (London's financial district), Chinatown, Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus.

The staff make you feel very special there...and were particularly lovely to my 6 year old daughter. She loves going there. This was our third stay amd we will definitely be back!

The location was perfect as we had theatre tickets at the lyceum

I found the rooms a bit basic for a 4 star hotel but clean and comfortable

The location

The infrastructure of the building was very bad. Toilets flushed like a trumpet (no joke). The room was too warm. No mini bar fridge. The hairdryer was connected to the bedroom and could not be used in the bathroom. The bathroom ventilation did not operate. The room was too small. Felt like I had poor value for the money I spent. The corridors of each of the levels for the rooms were worn out.

The Hotel is clean and very comfortable. The staff are all very friendly and the service was very good. The location does,nt get much better it was excellent for most of the London attractions.

Yes is was such a pity about the bathroom radiator it did not work and it was extremely cold showering on a winters morning. The bathroom itself was excellant (beautifully clean) - such a shame the hotel lets you down with a problem that could be rectified very easily.

Handy for West End theatres. The room was clean and comfortable although the decor was a little "tired".

I loved how flexible and how accomodating the hotel was for my trip to London for the New Years. I couldn't of asked for any more in a Hotel for the New years in London! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a place to stay close to Leister Square and other central Locations.

That it was central and easy reach of all main areas

yes we have used this Hotel 3-4 times and was dissapointed the price was increased for New Years Eve which we used and recommended with friends.

Good position for the West End and Covent Garden. Rooms are very clean

Have stayed at this hotel before in the summer in a standard room which was ok. This time booked an upgraded room but it wasn't worth the extra. The rooms are just as tiny. All you get is different paint on the walls, a bottle of water and a bath robe you have to ask for.We stayed on New Years Eve this time and the rooms were very cold. The central heating only seems to come on occasionally
