Place with character. It was spotless and nicely quiet there. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food in the pub downstairs. Owerall, it has hugely exceeded my expectations. Great place to stop by for sure

Towels are soft & plentiful.The rooms all have their own basins,which is handy. the breakfast is a standard cereal,tinned fruit tea,coffee and toast arrangement , fine to start the day.Always a quiet stay& meals in the bar are great.An added bonus is that the famous Fairlie Pie shop is just up the road if you want a good coffee & doughnut!LynnFamily with young children

Room has a small courtyard, though it was a bit too cold to use, a spacious bathroom, and a big comfy bed. The dimplex heater with faux coals helped make the room feel even cosier. Room also has off street parking. Staff were super friendly and helpful, as well as pointing us to the excellent Carnegie's restaurant for dinner.
