When we arrived we had a very nice warm welcome of Victoria, one of the owners of Brambles of Inverary. The Garden suite is just lovely! Amazing comfortable beds and sofa in front of the tv. My compliments to the housekeeper who specially arranged the stuffed animals of my daughter on her bed when we came back in our room. This totally made her feel really special. Brambles had their own restaurant and coffee café accross the street. In their restaurant they serve during the day nice lunches including amazing pastries and cakes. I was personally in heaven with 1 of their specialties, the blue berry lemon curd cake with lemon frosting. It's a good thing for my health that I do not live here haha. The first night we also had dinner at the restaurant of Brambles. This was also really excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. This restaurant is nice for any kind of group. In the morning we had breakfast at Brambles which was included. You could choose something cooked from the menu and you were able to take anything you wanted from the counter. Like croissants, cereals or juices. We had Eggs Benedict, very tasty! Brambles is located at the main street of Inverary. Within 10 minutes walk of the Inverary castle and 1 minute walk of the Inverary Jail. Both I definitely recommend to visit! In the area there are also really nice hikes you can do for example go up the mountain 250 metres high to the look out point of Dun Na Cuaiche. Trust me it's worth it! The view at Inverary and Loch Fyne is breahttaking! Next time if Inverary is on our route, we will again book our stay with Brambles!

We arrived late and had dinner in the pub/restaurant. The quality was way in excess of our expectations. I had a Beetroot cured smoked gravadlax with horseradish cream, cress & toasted sourdough followed by Beer battered haddock & hand cut chips with peas & tartare. The starter was one of the best I have ever had and the main course was the perfect meal for a first day in Scotland. Compliments to the chef!! Our room was spacious with every comfort. A huge comfortable bed with a nice view out the front of the building, and nice bathroom with all necessary accessories.

Located just 5 miles from Oban, right on the lake shores and on Loch Etive, Lochnell Arms Hotel features a restaurant overlooking the famous Falls of Lora. Guests can relax in the lounge by the open roaring fire and there is also a terrace for al fresco dining. Lovely hotel and my room had a beautiful view of the falls! Owner was very friendly. The breakfast was very good.

Very friendly staff, nice clean warm room, really nice food and an amazing whisky collection.

Each room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Beautiful location, great view, clean, had everything we needed in the room, very nice staff, good value. Excellent food at the restaurant.

"The Anchor Inn was a traditional Drovers Inn dating back to 1888. Over recent years, it has undergone tasteful modernisation and now boasts a nautical-themed bar and restaurant area with hearty food and good ale. We have various rooms, all en-suite, and many have views of the Gareloch Sea. We had an amazing welcome from the owner, the bedroom in the second building was really nice and by the way very quiet and the home-made food SO delicious ! We would definitely go back on another trip to Scotland.

A traditional, family-run inn built in the 19th-century, located a short walk from the shores of Loch Melfort, The Cuilfail has a bar, a restaurant, free parking and free Wi-Fi.

The bar has an open fire, and traditional Scottish food is served. Enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal was superb. Small cosy bar with good selection of beer and whisky. Nice quiet location but not far from Oban. scenery was exceptional in this area. Would highly recommend this hotel.
