With a historically listed interior, the bar and restaurant at The Black Lion Pub & Boutique Guesthouse Guesthouse have retained charming original features. Above this old pub was a treat to stay in. The rooms were small but perfect for our one night stay as they provided all the comforts needed in a fresh and modern space. Very quiet.

A real neighbourhood, in Wimbledon Village, across from Wimbledon Common, about 12 minutes walk downhill to the tube station, or a short bus ride. Fabulous place. Lots of television stations, a bathtub.

Central London is a 40-minute train journey away, whilst Heathrow Airport can be reached with 30 minutes’ drive. A number of riverside restaurants and pubs can also be found just 5 minutes’ walk from the hotel. Great location, really friendly staff. Hotel very clean and very modern. Some really nice touches. On Friday night the bar was very busy yet our room was nice and quiet.

There have been times where they have need to change details to accommodate my needs and have done so with a smile and a joke. Great team.

Short walk from the Hammersmith tube station. The staff were friendly and helpful. A simple but nice complimentary selection of breakfast items - yoghurt, cereal, muffins, cookies, fresh cold milk, coffee and tea - was available in the room or in the communal fridge, which is definitely a plus! As to the pub, we had dinner there once and the food was great. I have two criticisms, neither of which interfered with my overall positive impression: there are a number of stains on the carpet (a tiled floor would look tidier and be easier to clean as well); the room number 1 is quite noisy as it is located next to the staircase which leads to all the other rooms, so you can hear people coming in throughout the night.

This property have a happening pub in the ground floor and the ambience looks great. We visited this property on a weekend and the pub music didn't cause any noise in the room we stayed. The breakfast options were good and we liked the quality and taste. The staff were really welcoming and they truly care about their guests. The rooms were maintained well. Overall it was a great choice and we may definitely consider staying there again.
