Natasja was so welcoming when we arrived. She was happy to organise game drives and the boat safari for us and share her tips for the area and give us recommendations for nice restaurants. As two 30-year-old girls traveling together, we felt very safe at the lodge. When we mentioned something was broken in the room, it was fixed straight away. The rooms were perfectly cleaned every day while we were out exploring. The braai and outside kitchen was our favorite thing to come back to, to cook our dinner and relax with a glass of wine watching the sunset and scenery from our little patio. We will definitely recommend the lodge to friends and family and we hope to be back very soon! Thank you :)

Small property, creates a more intimate experience. The houses were quiet, cozy and clean. The game drives were spectacular. It felt like everyone from our guide, Prem, to our waitress, Barbra, were going above and beyond with their hospitality. We were completely enamored.

It is truly the most beautiful accommodation we have ever been to (and we are regular booking.com customers). The decor and style of the owner is sublime. Everything is perfect down to the last detail. The accommodation is equipped with everything you think you need. Super clean. A great chef who makes you a 5-star breakfast every morning. Very reasonable drink prices with the honest bar principle, write down what you used. The location is central and very safe. Wildlife in the backyard. Indeed, you never want to leave here. Amazing property, big room with private pool and service 24/7. They took us to a big five property to do safari one day and in the other we booked a full-day Kruger safari with them. Both were great, recommend it for everyone.

Highly recommend this lodge if you search something more intimate. Food is amazing, the game drives are fun and rich, and everything is made for you to feel the best.

The place was immaculate and well maintained. Staff were welcoming and very friendly. The shared kitchen is beautiful and well equipped. Whilst we only did a quick stop over before crossing border into Botswana the next morning, I could definitely do an extra night or two to explore the place more next time.

With bush views, The Wild Blue Lodge SAFARI & SPA is set in the Ndlovumzi Nature Reserve and has a restaurant, a shared lounge, bar, garden, outdoor pool, and terrace. This hotel is a sight to be seen. I felt like I was staying in a multi-thousand dollar-a-night hotel within the game reserve. The decorations, the size of the room, the bed, the cotton sheets, and the view of monkeys and other animals outside my sliding glass door. The amenities provided in the rooms made you never want to leave. I have had coffee in the morning on my private balcony in my bathrobe after my wonderful hot shower in the luxurious bathroom. At night we sat by the pool drinking wine after our dinner. This exceptional hotel is the best-valued hotel I have ever visited.
