Just 5 minutes’ walk from Turangi town centre, Creel Lodge is a 4.5-star Qualmark rated motel offering self-contained suites with a private patio and BBQ facilities. A wonderful, serene, and very practical place to stay. As well as being quiet (with some interesting bird calls audible in the early morning) and comfortable, it had a very usable kitchen, good wifi, easy parking, helpful staff/owners, great shower (and super-hot), laundry facilities, and was only a short (10min) walk to town.

White Heron Motor Lodge is just 2 minutes' drive from the centre of Gisborne and 7 minutes' drive from the beach and the airport. Short drive to town and the beach. Very comfortable bed and clean facilities. Well equipped kitchenette and would recommend a room with the spa pool!

Surrounded by restaurants and cafes in Napier city centre, Motel de la Mer offers ocean-facing suites with a fully equipped kitchen. Some rooms have a balcony with ocean and city views. Julie was a great host ! Great location across from the beach. Spacious room
