The hotel is brand new. I like the room with big windows and mountain views and a balcony. The room is spacious, beautiful and cozy. Spa area is a nice place to relax after skiing. Breakfasts have big variety of food, we didn’t need more. Service is great, people are hospitable.

The Staff / Owners, the room, facilities, location, breakfast, sauna ….. I could go on and on ….. And it is only a 5 min walk from the Town/ Railway Station yet it is so quiet and peaceful. For Hikers, there is a good 2,000m peak right behind the hotel . Thank you ALL so much for making our stay so enjoyable. Emma - you are amazing !! We WILL return next year ….

This was a bit over my usual budget but for a special occasion it's totally worth it. The location is amazing and so is everything in the building.

Located at the entrance to the Karwendel Nature Reserve in Pertisau, the Sonnenhof is next to the Achensee Golf Course. All rooms and apartments have a balcony with panoramic mountain views. This was our first holiday as a family of three with our 4 month old baby boy - it couldn't have been more perfect!! Booking rather last minute and I was only able to book half-board which I have never done before however we will be coming back and we will be booking half-board again. The breakfast and dinners are out of this world! The choices available are incredible! The room was wonderful, wonderful views of the mountains from both of our balconies. Just perfect! For anyone with small children who want to get out and experience the mountains still, this is the place for you, the paths up and down the valleys and even up the mountains to a few huts/peak pushchair accessible. The staff were all excellent, incredibly friendly and the owners are also wonderful, working alongside their team. This whole experience couldn't have been more perfect for our little Family, so many firsts for our Son and so many precious memories made! Thank you and we most definitely will be back! 🥺☺️🏞️🏖️

The room is designed as a single space (bath and shower in the room), separate toilet. Mattress and bed linen are very good. To the beach 7 minutes walk. Very tasty and rich breakfast, lots of fruits, freshly prepared egg dishes, even fried chanterelles (!).

Amazing staff: very kind, professional and helpful. The room was spacy, with a huge balcon and a breathtaking view on the mountains. The bathroom was HUGE, really modern. Pool was great as well. Wonderful Hotel. Easy smooth checkin and my room was ready early which was really useful for me as I had lots planned in the afternoon. Spa was wonderful, fantastic place to relax and recharge after a lot of cross country skiing. Nice big breakfast buffet and good coffee!! Just 5 mins from the station which was really useful. The 2 guys on the bar were exceptional. Super relaxed and friendly, but excellent service. They created a really nice atmosphere!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel for a week with my 2-year-old. The friendly staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and their attentive service was much appreciated. The hotel's location was ideal, allowing us to easily explore the area's attractions. What stood out to me was the delicious food offered at the hotel's restaurant, which both my toddler and I enjoyed. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend to others looking for a family-friendly and well-located place to stay.
