Nestled within Taronga Zoo and overlooking Sydney Harbour, Wildlife Retreat at Taronga is an eco-retreat offering stylish accommodation in a relaxed bush setting. Our stay was well beyond my expectations. Initially I was a little worried, as it was a little outside of my price range. I liked the idea that it was nonprofit and sustainable and I thought the proximity of the animals would be fun for my daughter. The staff was amazing...extremely helpful and kind and always went the extra mile to help us to feel welcome. This never happens, but the view was even better than what's listed on the site. We had a room facing the opera house and it was stunning...we also had an adorable koala outside our room constantly. Just like in the picture. Really. There were several extras that I hadn't anticipated...a morning and evening zoo walk and a tour of a little area made available only to guests. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and you could tell the zoo was working more as an animal sanctuary. I would 1000% recommend this to anyone. It's also extremely accessible, so my daughter and I were able to use it as a home base for exploring other parts of the city. We often came back with tons of sand between our toes and still had time to enjoy the view and the animals.

SKYE Suites Green Square

SKYE Suites Green Square erbjuder boutiquesviter med ett bekvämt boende i lägenhetsstil. Hotellet ligger söder om Sydneys affärsdistrikt CBD, bara 4 minuters tågresa från Kingsford Smith Airport. The location was right at the Green Square Station, which was only 10 minutes away from the airport and few minutes to Central by train. There was a supermarket just at the corner. We stayed for a week in a two-bedroom suite, which was very spacious and well equipped. It was quiet, safe and spotlessly clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day and bathroom amenities, dish washing liquid and laundry powder were refilled generously. The house staffs responded to all questions 24 hours and worked all the way to make us feel at home. We enjoyed our stay very much and will certainly come back for future visits.

Featuring a casino, a day spa and 20 bars and restaurants, The Darling at The Star is just 650 metres from Cockle Bay. This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere in the world! Perfect location, great pool, exceptionally clean, every staff member went above and beyond what would be expected. We highly recommend and would stay there again, the location in Pyrmont was great, far enough away from the crowds but walking distance to Darling Harbour. Light rail stop on-site, what more could you want! We have been to Sydney quite a few times, this hotel made this visit very special, thanks to all the Hotel staff, particularly the housekeeping staff who were wonderful.............
