Very nice small hotel in the country, very close to the coast. Big rooms and very comfortable and a lovely lounge and breakfast was included. The small things matter and that really is worth mentioning for this hotel. It looks also like a big bed and breakfast but with hotel facilities. Well done!

Had a great stay at the hotel De Vaart. A perfect location for our cycling break right on top of the Damme canal that links Brugge to Holland. Rudy and the team are fantastic hosts and we were made to feel very welcome. A great selection of beers on offer for post ride socialising and all very well priced. Breakfast was extensive and just what was needed to set you up for the day. The rooms are perfect for a cycling break and i had one of the best nights sleep i've had in a while add to that onsite secure cycle parking and what more can you ask for on a cycling break. I would defiantly stay again and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family....5 stars all-round.

Modern spacious hotel, built in a circular shape, full length window wall for beautiful view outside, feeling of a clean environment next to a lake. I went for a 2 km run around the lake on the designated footpath. Breakfast was wonderful. Brugge is close and ideal for a stay here with a car.

Nastanitev De Grote Wateringe je v mestu Damme, 6,8 km od znamenitosti Igrišče za golf Damme Golf, in nudi vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče ter teraso. Lovely quiet rural location, beautifully restored farm buildings, comfortable rooms, good showers. Especially liked having a fridge in the room. Would be a great place to stay on cycling holiday & ride alongside canal into Bruges.
