Clean property, lots of parking. Kids play structure across the road. Lots of things to do. Really nice suite, loved the mountain vibes and furniture.

Situated in Golden, British Columbia, this hotel is an 8-minute drive from Golden Golf & Country Club. An indoor pool with hot tub and simple rooms with a flat-screen cable TV are offered. Large comfortable room, swimming pool and gym. Good continental breakfast, all the usual Ramada qualities. However it's the helpfulness of staff at this particular hotel that shone. I checked out and a hour later realised that I'd left my walking boots in the room. So I phoned them to let them know and the lady said she'd send someone to look for them to put them to oneside so that I could collect when I was passing by a few days later. Three days later I collected them, so thank you Ramada staff!

Featuring an indoor pool with water slide and hot tub, Travelodge by Wyndham Golden Sportsman Lodge is off the Trans-Canada Highway and is within a 10-minute drive of Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. Clean, I could park right outside my door, pet friendly!

Located off the Trans-Canada Highway, this Golden, British Columbia hotel features an indoor swimming pool. Free WiFi is available in all guest rooms. It is a great big room, with two very comfortable queen beds. The room was clean. Breakfast was really good; everything was enough to feel complete.

Size, kitchenette, view, clean pool area and great breakfast. Staff very friendly and we will be back!

The receptionist was very helpful, we were originally allocated a room on its own right by the hotels liquor store. The manager of the store explained that the store was open until 11 at night and her staff would be back and forth between store and room next to ours all the time so it would be noisy although she would ask the staff to try to keep noise to a minimum. When we went back to ask for another room the receptionist was very apologetic - think new and hadn’t realised - she then gave us a room facing the mountains on the 3rd floor. She also rang in the evening to check that everything was ok and asked again each time we passed her in reception.

We loved the ambience, away from the crowds of Banff and Lake Louise. Yoho National Park had a lot to offer. Coming back to a clean comfortable lodge after a long hike was the highlights.
