This mountain accommodation is set in a car-free zone at an altitude of 1,450 metres above Altdorf and Flüelen. Berggasthaus Eggberge can only be reached by cable car. While the pictures speak for themselves regarding the amazing location, accomodation, and food, the staff is absolutely incredible, they went above and beyond to make us enjoy our time. It is very rare to find this type of impecabble services and I guess this has to do with the fact that it's a family business and they put a lot of passion in everything they do. I simply don't have the words to describe how good we felt during our stay and we would definitely recommend it 😊

Situated in Schattdorf, within 44 km of Lucerne Station and 46 km of Lion Monument, 54 Hochgenuss features accommodation with a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property as well as free private... The glass windows all around the bedroom really delivers on the mountain views. It was like spending a day inside a painting, quite surrealistic! The room has everything one needs for 1 or 2 nights. The breakfast is really good, the staff was kind enough to accommodate our diet requests. Easy parking, easy to find. Easy access from car to elevator and to the room.

Set in Altdorf, Zum Schwarzen Löwen features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. We stopped in this little town on our way to Zurich and we found the hotel was in a superb location, just 50 mts from the main square. Parking is not easy but Rita solved the problema for us. We are quite thankful for that.

Situated in Unterschächen, 33 km from Klewenalp, Hotel Alpina features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a terrace. Nice clean rooms and traditional breakfast. What made the difference in hotel Alpina was the staff. Instantly arriving you had a sense of feeling that you are very welcomed to stay and the staff was really nice. The location is most beautiful small village. Can recommend.

Dating from the 18th century, Hotel Restaurant Goldener Schlüssel is located in the Old Town of Altdorf in the Canton of Uri. Lake Lucerne is a 10-minute drive away. Good continental breakfast. Great dinner with a simple menu but locally sourced produce. Very clean room, nice and light and large enough for 3 of us.

Located only 3 km from Lake Lucerne, Hotel Höfli is set in the oldest building of Altdorf, dating back to 1768. It features 2 restaurants and free private parking. The staff was fantastic. They went out of their way to make our visit wonderful.

Guests can find Hotel Krone in a quiet location, just a 5-minute drive from Altdorf’s centre. It features a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel was excellent for our stay and the owners were exceptional to our needs.

Offering garden views, Schützenmatt Ferienwohnung is an accommodation situated in Altdorf, 42 km from Lion Monument and 43 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne. Very spacious but comfortable, cosy and quiet. The location is fantastic. Parking is easy. Louisa is a lovely host and all of the staff are friendly and helpful.
