Located in Altdorf, Zum Schwarzen Löwen features a terrace, restaurant, bar, and free WiFi throughout the property. Great hotel, everything was brilliant and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was great too. A really cosy bar too.

Dating from the 18th century, Hotel Restaurant Goldener Schlüssel is located in the Old Town of Altdorf in the Canton of Uri. Lake Lucerne is a 10-minute drive away. Driving from UK to central Italy is tiring and unpredictable and the welcome was warm and even left a bed for the dog and a bowl, which saved me carrying up the one I travel with. I will certainly be back.

Lovely local hotel with very pleasant and efficient receptionist, well served dinner in the garden with good quality wines served by the glass. Friendly and efficient staff. Schützenmatt Ferienwohnung is located in Altdorf, just 26 miles from Lucerne Train Station and 26 miles from Lion Monument. The rooms are very big and amazing, and the host is very nice and helpful. The surrounding is very beautiful , we took a walk to the hill top , the views are very beautiful .
