It is a best hotel for family of four members. It is also well connected to interlaken Ost and Luzern.

Located in the center of Sachseln, 656 feet from Lake Sarnen and the train station, the family-run Gasthaus Engel features a Gault Millau-awarded restaurant serving Swiss and international cuisine. This was a wonderful place. I recommend it highly. Be sure to have dinner, it was wonderful.

Located right in front of the Melchsee-Frutt Cable Car, Gasthaus Waldhaus is a traditional guest house that enjoys a central position in Melchtal. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with enough to make a couple of extra sandwiches for lunch.

Overlooking Lake Sarnen, Seehotel Wilerbad is idyllically located between mountains and the lake, a 20-minute drive from Lucerne. Breakfast was superb with plenty of fresh and delicious food. Restaurant was good and I was able to reserve a place right away. The location is a great starting point for travel in the area. The fitness room and spa were excellent.

Frutt Living has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Kerns. The room was perfect with a great view. Construction was happening on one floor but the staff still made sure the common areas were clean.
