The situation for cycling the Splügen pass is incomparable!! The welcome, the check-in was friendly and seamless. The room spacious and comfortable… No ‘frills’ i.e. no tea making facilities, no hairdryer… only hand soap and shampoo dispenser in shower.. The sauna and pool are excellent for a hotel of this size… and they even kept it on for us as we missed out (due to Covid restrictions on allowing only 2 in the sauna at a time)

This traditional, country-style hotel in Splügen. It is surrounded by the scenic Lepontine Alps and the popular Splügen ski resort. A great place. We've arrived with bicycles coming through the Splügenpass. It was raining so we arrived soaking wet. The stuff has invited us and shown a secure place to store our bicycles. There's a great restaurant in the building and it's in the middle of Splügen - which actually is not all that difficult since that's a very small village. The breakfast was fantastic!

Aquest hotel disposa d'un restaurant tradicional i habitacions senzilles amb bany privat. Està situat a només 10 minuts a peu de les pistes d'esquí de Medels im Rheinwald i al costat del riu Reno. It was the perfect stay on my way to Italy. I loved the location in the mountains, the view, the atmosphere and the good food :) The service was friendly and very welcoming and I felt like home straight away. Pretty sure you can spend more days here and do some lovely hikes. But as I was just passing it was perfect to get some rest and a good night sleep

Close to the Viamala Gorge, in the heart of the Grisons region, far from the stress of everyday life! The location was perfect, free hotel parking, comfortable very clean rooms, Lovely breakfast and terrace area to eat
