Quiet location in the country but not far from shopping. Hamburg’s metropolis only an hour away; historic Lübeck about the same. German-style breakfast buffet with some North-German touches (e.g. herring). I was able to order scrambled eggs each morning. Attached restaurant for meals & events. Very useful for hosting family gatherings, as hotel & restaurant are connected. Separate heating in bath & room makes for comfortable showering.

We really enjoyed our stay - the room was spacious and felt like home. Clean comfy beds with lots of extra blankets and pillows, which the kids enjoyed. Very friendly and helpful staff and delicious dinner & breakfast. Thank you!

Built in 1908, this elegant hotel is located just 500 metres from the River Elbe in Geesthacht. The Holsteiner Hof offers free Wi-Fi. very clean. the stuff were very helpful/nice and professional.

Parking was convenient. Staff was friendly, helpful and always went the extra mile. Food in the adjacent restaurant was exceptional.
