Happy, courteous and professional staff. Excellent location, walking distance from a few restaurants and shops. Had a very pleasant stay with my family. Will recommend and visit again.

The Posada Dos Orillas can be found inside the walls of Trujillo, just 400 metres from the Plaza Mayor. Set in a 16th-centruy building, it has a restaurant, patio and free Wi-Fi. I absolutely loved the place and the vibe!! Will try to come back!

Housed in a former convent, built in the 15th century, the Parador de Plasencia hotel has kept its stunning, original architecture, including spacious hallways, archways and courtyards. A beautifully restored historic property that has resulted in a place that exudes comfort, warmth and ambience in the common areas and in our room. We had dinner in what was a sensitively styled dining space. The food and service were exceptional. A buffet breakfast with good variety was provided with choices for hot food prepared on an individual basis. A wonderful choice for a luxury experience.

Don Julio is a hotel of outstanding quality in every aspect. It is a typical Casona of Extremadura with lovely traditional furnishings and large comfortable bedrooms. The gardens are a delight and there is ample parking space as well. The breakfast is ample and varied. It is good value.

Featuring a terrace, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. the host was really lovely, gave us an upgrade free of charge. The breakfast was really nice, I would recomend tasting their home made bread!

Set in Jarandilla de la Vera, 15 km from Monasterio de Yuste, Hotel Rural San Giles offers accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge. The place is really great: clean and neat, perfect quite atmosphere and above all the staff ; Javi and his wife are just extraordinary and committed 100% to the guests. At night, you can see the Milky Way and all the constellations, and even see Saturn with Javi’s telescope. Incredible.

Guests can enjoy a selection of local dishes in the in-house restaurant. it such a nice getaway. we arrived late night, it was already dark - so in the morning we were surprised by the location. owner offered us a dinner - just for two of us - we have been the only guests that evening. salmon was one of the best we have ever had

Offering a shared swimming pool, Hotel Rural Xerete is located in the Jerte Valley, 20 km from Plasencia. The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning and free Wi-Fi access. This property exceeded our expectations. The swimming pool was generous in size, regularly cleaned and open much earlier than most pools in Spain. The garden was verdant, with many birds singing beautifully. Our host, Anna, seemed to always be available and very happy to help out with the smallest thing - and so friendly and kind! We were delighted to be in the countryside among the cherry orchards of the Jerte Valley (and just far enough from the relatively quiet road that the occasional traffic noise sunk into the background on the whole). The breakfasts were pleasant and varied each day with different types of fruit and cakes/croissants plus fresh orange juice, meats, cheese, toast, coffee - all beautifully and quickly presented. We also had dinner there on a couple of occasions - the food was also excellent and very filling with three courses at a very reasonable price. The wine was excellent. The room was spacious with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden, the beds comfortable and everything very clean. Mosquito nets over the windows and doors protect from the mozzies around - bring insect bite cream and cover up if you eat outside in the evening.
