Excellent location if you are hiking Caminito del Rey, it's a 5-10min walk to the start of both trails (the tunnels). Plus you can park at the hotel, wasn't needed for us as it wasn't busy in February. The gentleman at checkin was incredibly helpful, showing us the maps of where we needed go and giving tips on when and how to arrive. The hotel itself is charming, lots of gathering spaces, rooms were spacious. Recommended for hikers! And, yes, the hike is worth it!

Very nice, spacious and well maintained apartment , which is a part of a bigger villa where the family lives. On a very nice piece of land surrounded by hills and olive trees. Jesus, his wife and kids were very friendly, receiving our family and our dog Luna with open arms. We will absolutely come back here to discover the area: Caminito del Rey, Cuevas de Ardales, etc... Thank you very much for our excellent stay!

The location in Ardales is perfect, a 5 minute walk to the restaurants. Ronda, El Torcal, and Caminito Del Rey are all a short drive. The village has a couple small shops, the apartment has what's needed for eating a light meal, parking was easy, and the village has some pretty things to see, take a walk up to the very top, and enjoy the "selfie stand" at sunset!

Fantastic location after a long hot hike at Caminito del Rey. The five bedroom apartment was perfect for our group. Extremely clean and new facilities. Kitchen was well equipped. Great place to stay before or after your hike. Location offers garage parking for a small fee but we were able to park on the street a short distance from the apartment.

We found the apartment very clean and the decor was lovely in the apartment. Nice cooking area and seating area to relax in . Bathroom was great with extra essentials if required . We found parking outside the door A steep walk to the town for restaurants and half hour drive to the Caminito Del Rey . Flores the owner was always easy to contact

My room was very spacious with a double bed and the added bonus of a kitchenette with microwave, fridge and cutlery/dishes. Frank the receptionist was very helpful with local knowledge and organising an early morning taxi to the amazing Caminito Del Rey. Hotel Don Pero is very centrally located in Alora and it was amazing value for money.

Very clean, new, nicely designed apartment. Swimming pool is very small, but if you want to refresh - it is totally usable. They gave us opportunity to move our booking 1 day earlier as our visit to Caminito del Rey was moved because of the weather - big thanks for that! Also seafood resto that lady on the reception recommended was good!

very comfortable, well-kept and spacious apartment in a great location in town, large kitchen equipped with everything you need, washing machine, portable heater; the host was very helpful and nice, always in touch, helped me with a taxi to Caminito del Rey. I could have left my luggage earlier before check in time.

Ease of access without need to use a car. Hotel is adjacent to the railway station at El Chorro (on the media distancia Malaga-Seville line) and very easy to get to from these cities. It is an ideal starting point for the Caminito del Rey footpath. Staff were friendly. Restaurant was good.

If you want to stay in the evening at terrace and enjoy view to valley and Spanish wine so this is perfect place. For the trip in Caminito del Rey would recommend to leave the car at the accommodation and go to start of the trip by bus. Apartment is very close to the end of this way.

- awesome position for the via ferrata and for the caminito del rey (the bus that brings to the starting point stop very close and the ending point is here) - small but cozy apartment - there is all the necessary for cooking - very easy and helpful information for the check-in

The location is perfect for Caminito del Rey walk. The apartment is in the centre of the beautiful town of Alora. Free parking is availble in a communal carpark a few hundred meters away. The apartment itself was great. Well kitted out and everything worked.

Wonderful apartment with a a terrace - located on a hill with a nice forrest and combined with a view on a lake. A lot of amazing hiking options nearby. Booking a guided tour in Caminito Del Rey is a must have (about 30 min walk from the apartment).

Absolutely everything- grate location, excellent staff, very interesting room, great food. The room was with terrace- it was great to sit there in the evening. Unfortunately, we had only one night in this hotel on our way to Caminito del Rey.

Very clean, good location to see Ronda, Caminito del Rey, Granada and a day trip to Sevilla. Easy uphill walk to town for food. Close little store to get basic supplies nearby. Gas station down the road was great for coffee and food!

Great value for money, great location to visit Caminito Del Rey and other attractions nearby. Easy check-in and check-out with lockbox. In real life, the apartment seemed larger and brighter than in the pictures.

Location to go to the Caminito del Rey and the info desk next to the hotel, the staff there was very helpful. Parking in the same street was very easy (at least in low season, when we went in February).

Very well located little hotel. Clean rooms, nice pool and delicious food at the restaurant. 10 min drive from the Visitor Center of Caminito del Rey. Parking on site.

We liked the location close to Caminito del Rey and Torcal. Apartment is very spacious, quiet and well equipped. Beds are very good. The host is very kind and helpful.
