It was worth paying extra for the room with views.

We were able to have a high standard of lunch at the restaurant even though we were the only costumers. The location.is excellent. The room was comfortable.

The hotel was lovely, quiet, peaceful and the couple who ran the hotel were very kind and helpful. the location was beautiful and perfect for hiking to Canyon de Los lobos park and the Templar hermitage of San Bartolomé. the food was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

We didn’t use the ‘spa bath’, but I am sure it would have been great. Kitchen, dining, living area was fine for a couple. Bathroom was nice with a good sized shower. All of the fixtures and fittings were of a good standard and the off street parking capped off a very enjoyable stay. A good base for interesting places to visit and the roads are a dream to drive - virtually empty!
