This converted and fully renovated charming property dates back to the 16th century. I have never met such hospitable guy like the owner of the hotel before. After all day long on my bike, he offered me to wash my cycling clothes, he prepared for me a dellicious high-protein dinner :-) and he also helped me to find a local taxi to get me back to the mountains next day.

Offering a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, El Cercado is set in Andalusia’s beautiful Alpujarras Mountains. A hidden gem with fantastic views. It was so tranquil. The staff were very pleasant and the accommodation very comfortable and very clean. The breakfasts were great, a lovely selection. I can recommend the hot stone massage, it was amazing and the spa very relaxing.

Fermina, Sonia y Mina are wonderful hostesses! I felt very welcome and well looked after by them. Their food is yummy. They even lent me a backpack to do a day hike more comfortably. The hostel is brand new and they keep it beautiful and clean. Nice and quiet at night, conveniently central for taking the bus to and from Granada. I miss Trevélez and la Alpujarra very much, it’s a very special place.

We liked everything about this place including that they have parking but we didn't need it because there was parking right in front of the hotel! The breakfast was good and they maker their own churros batter on site! The hotel lobby was decorated for Halloween which we all found fabulous! The gardens were lovely and the hotel is fabulously situated in the middle of the town. Everything was walkable. I would love to go back in the summer to use their fabulous pool overlooking the mountains!

Wow! Our three night stay at the beautiful self catering property in rural Valor was wonderful. Spotlessly clean, the lovely self-catering house had everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. What's special here? - Stunning views of the miles and miles of the mesmerising Sierra Nevada. - A gorgeous swimming pool. A good size with a personal feel. - Fresh figs on the trees which Manuel allowed us to pluck and eat. - Quiet and secluded with a lovely outdoor dining/bbq area in addition to your own private balcony. - Secure parking and direct access to your property with your car to make life easier. We were in one of the little country cottages just outside Órgiva. It was very peaceful, the garden is beautiful with ancient olive & fruit trees. The scenery was lovely, with mountain views and the pool was great for swimming. A really enjoyable few days. Grácias, Antonio!
