Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff, especially at the front desk. I've stayed here 5-6 times since 2017 and always find it relaxing and enjoyable. It's an old-fashioned gem with a nice lobby, a lovely bar on premises and a great breakfast buffet. The buffet staff is top-notch too. In a great area right off the old-city; there are many drinking and dining choices within a 10 minute walk. I think it's one of Ourense"s best hotels, one that provides exceptional value with great service and a touch of class.

This is a clean, efficient, nicely appointed, well-situated one bedroom, one-bathroom apartment in the heart of Ourense's historic zone. There is an additional sofa bed in the living room. You really couldn't ask for more at such a reasonable price. Best of all are the friendly and helpful owners Conchi and David who also manage this attractive property. And it is an easy walk to anywhere in the old town distict which becomes quite lively and festive when the sun goes down. Highly recommended.

Ramiro, the owner of the apartment was kind, helpful and informative. He met us upon our arrival and accompanied us to the apartment's indoor parking space, located just a short walk away. The apartment was clean and nicely furnished and the kitchen was stocked with milk, bottles of water, candies and many pantry staples. The apartment's location--in the historic center, just a few blocks away from Ourense's main square--was ideal.

Hotel is best for car travelers, it is located at a motorway intersection, but it is also probably the hotel closest to the Ourense thermal baths. Large safe parking. Friendly and helpful lady receptionist, lift, clean rooms, wi-fi worked well. Clean, good showers, simple but adequate breakfast at good price, overall affordable. Very good value for money, I had low expectations, so I was actually surprised how good everything was.

We we met at the arranged time. They were very helpful and kind to show us the apartment and tell us about the area around the apartment. The rooms were cozy and comfortable. It was the perfect place to explore Ourense, especially the old quarter. We wish we would have had longer to stay. Would recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to stay in Ourense. The owner even arranged a taxi to the train station for us.

Great location in short walking distance from the train station to the hotel, the staff was great, sending me the codes by WhatsApp (while I was on the train) so that I could enter the hotel with my late arrival time. Really nice that! The bed was on the firm side, but OK, and the room was clean, comfortable, the morning breakfast hit the spot. Many thanks to Hotel Alda Estación Ourense, España.

This was a lovely apartment right in the centre of Ourense. There were lots of bars and restaurants within a very short walk as well as museums and the train to the hot springs. It was spotless and came stocked with coffee and even milk and water in the fridge which was very much appreciated when we arrived. The host was lovely and very communicative and check-in and out was super simple.

Everything related to my acommodation and stay was really wonderful. The room I was given was very comfy, well furnished and clean. I'd like to highlight this is the second time I've booked a room at the New J&J Hostel and both experiences were very pleasant to me, so I recommend this place to anyone interested in reserving a good place to stay in downtown Ourense.

Huge space, natural light, industrial chic style and very comfortable, comprehensive facilities - loved the onsite washer and dryer! Centrally located just outside the famous baths in town (too bad they were closed for Covid, otherwise the perfect place to soak and return to apartment) and in the city center. Prob great for a long-term stay in Ourense.

The location was ideal, so it was the care of the managers, always available via WhatsApp to answer queries. Placed in the city's heart, it was an ideal location to walk in the historic centre of Ourense. The apartment is very nice, new, and very clean, with details upon arrival, such as welcome courtesy items to make the stay more comfortable.

The person on reception was really helpful. I went down the ramp into the car park to find that it was full. He came out to the car park and directed me to a space on the street opposite the hotel - convenient and free. The location is ideal for ExpoOurense, there are bars and cafés nearby and it´s a short walk into the centre.

Great local hotel with friendly staff who are happy to help with all requests (like hot water for tea and storing luggage). Very convenient location for transport, thermal baths, shops, historic areas, walking or just hanging out. I stayed a week and loved it. Ourense is a fabulous base for exploring a wide range of activities.

Great base and excellent. It is like having your own self-contained studio for a fraction of the price of a hotel - ensuite bathroom, cooking facilities in room, fridge and free wifi, what more can the budget traveller ask for. I recommend Residencia Universitaria As Burgas for a place to stay in Ourense.

The staff are what make this hotel very good. Very helpful and friendly and lovely fresh breakfast. Ourense old town was gorgeous and had many interesting restaurants, wished i had more time to investigate. We came for the hot springs, i would come back for the people and old town.

Just as you see in the pictures. an amazing apartment with a great view and a super convenient location. Very clean and with all you need to enjoy your stay. Silent at night, sunny during the day. I would come back every time I want to visit Ourense again.

Beautiful apartment, clean and comfortable with everything you will need including air con which is always a bonus.. Our host Malena was a lovely friendly lady. Well located in the beautiful old town of Ourense close to bars and restaurants.

Simple hostel. Did the job at a good price. Ourense is has a lovely old town with nice Galician bars and restaurants..and nice thermal pools by the river..had a nice visit.

A well-appointed apartment - including an oyster knife in a drawer! The owner is the most courteous and elegant Ourensean since Julio Iglesias Sr.! Seriously superior.

Almost everything. Host Nica (?) was super helpful. Good location and loved the outside terrace space. Very comfy beds. Ourense is a hidden gem.8
