This family-run hotel is in the center of Llavorsí, by the River Noguera-Pallaresa. Founded in 1700, today it offers a bar-cafe, restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Marta is a lovely host. It felt like a homestay. The room with the view was the best thing. With a good internet connection, I was able to work from the room. Very centric location, 2 min from the town centre and 5 min from the sports adventure. The dinner was full on, you get 2 courses, desert and wine. We had to check out earlier so Marta prepared us a filling breakfast to take away. She is super sweet.

Lo Paller is located in the pretty town of Valencia d'Àneu. Ten km from the Aigüstortes Natural Park and 9.3 mi from Baqueira-Beret ski slopes, it has a restaurant and bar. This is the best example of what people can achieve when they do things they love. Owners of hotels are very customer-oriented. They did their best to help us with any questions we had. The hotel by itself is really nice, clean, and cozy! I would recommend taking a half board as the food is very delicious.

Wonderful place with wonderful Xavi, the owner. You really feel at home in this charming place. Not fancy, but homy. Xavi is always there at your service and will do all to make you feel good. Always with a huge smile. The village is small and relaxing.

Ski storage is available and there is a seasonal outdoor pool just 164 feet away.... A very cute place in Rialp. We stayed two nights spending time in the Sort area. A simple but lovely place, with spacious and very clean rooms, beds were comfortable and the owners were really nice. Breakfast was lovely offering us personalized choice of eggs and a plate of fresh vegetables. Definitely a place to go if in the area.

Proprietor was knowledgeable, flexible, accommodating, friendly, and had a great sense of humor. Good communication. Very helpful when we ran into a snag in our trip. Excellent breakfast and delicious dinner.

Roca Blanca is located in the beautiful mountain town of Espot, in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is a traditional property with a gym, sauna and a free Wi-Fi area. I travel all over the world and this was the best hotel that I have ever stayed in! The hotel was updated and extremely clean. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and very tasty. They offered the best croissants I have had in Spain. They had several types of cheese, local meats, chocolate croissants, potato fritatta, spinach frittata, fresh breads, yogurt, and cereal. They also made fresh cappuccino for you. The best part of this hotel was the owner and his son Mark. They made you feel like family. They made amazing dinner suggestions. They offered to drive us to our car (which we left in the National Park) for free! They also fit us in when we did not have a reservation. I will miss this place.
