Sierra Quilama is located in San Miguel de Valero, in the beautiful Francia-Quilamas Mountains. It offers a garden with a pool, and air-conditioned rooms with views of the Sierra de Béjar Mountains. Amazing place, beautiful surroundings juast 40 minutes away from salamanca and ciudad rodrigo. Nice room, great meals and nice garden area with a small shallow pool. Fantastic staff aswell

This traditional, rural hotel lies in the center of the charming village of La Alberca, in a beautiful natural park to the south of Salamanca. Very attractive but pricey stopover in this secluded village. (I understand it is much busier in season). Basic accommodation in a surprising colour scheme. The underground parking was a bonus, but not for a car much larger than mine. There was a coach party staying so I avoided dining in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent but extra.

Hotel Rural Porta Coeli - Dehesa Santa Lucía features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in San Martín del Castañar. Loved our stay here. Fabulous views from our balcony, what a place to spend the evening. Very quiet room and comfy bed ensured a good night's sleep. Extremely friendly owner who spoke good English, gave us local tips for places to visit and was always smiling. Good breakfast with lots of choice. Good location for exploring this beautiful area by car. Free parking right outside.

Set within Las Batuecas Natural Park, this hotel is 656 feet away from the medieval village of Miranda del Castañar. It offers rooms with views over Sierra de Francia Mountains. I think the fact that we stayed there last year for a few days and were back again this summer says it all!Just a short walk from the charming village of Miranda del Castañar and a good base from which to explore the surrounding countryside and equally quaint villages,and this time,an added bonus was that the small public swimming pool,adjacent to the property, was open!!!

Abadía de San Martín has a beautiful location in San Martín del Castañar, in the Sierra de Francia. It offers rooms with free internet and a hydromassage shower. Location excellent. Breakfast very good

Set in the heart of the stunning Batuecas National Park and surrounded by ancient chestnut trees, this Medieval-style hotel boasts great facilities and views of the rural surroundings. Great hotel, very comfortable, well located. Fantastico spa! I highly recommend at least one trip to the SPA.

Las Batuecas is located in La Alberca, about 1 hours’ drive south of Salamanca. It offers spacious rooms with private bathrooms and free Wi-Fi. Free on-site parking is also available. Ideal location for walking into La Alberca. A good sized double bed, quiet at night just how we like it. A very handy lift that gives access directly from the carpark to your room floor level. Perfect for our one night in La Alberca.

The village is very special and beautiful. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Very nice huge and clean bedroom with a lovely view. We felt very comfortable.
