Location was ideal for visiting other places and a beautiful setting especially the sunrise on a good day... comfortable, relaxing house and room, very quiet...hosts Ben and V were very welcoming and nothing was too much if needed anything . breakfast was fab especially the toast...lovely local pub within walking distance The Pheasant inn... great value for money would definitely book again.

The Dash Farmhouse offers self-catering accommodation just 4 miles from Bassenthwaite village, 37 km from Windermere. The property is set in 200 acres of farmland and features free private parking. Very special place. This gorgeous farmhouse was the perfect home base for our family visit to the lake district. You could spend your entire trip just enjoying the immediate surroundings. Everything was clean, comfortable, and like the pictures but more beautiful!

Ten wiktoriański wiejski pensjonat położony jest 5 minut spacerem od jeziora Bassenthwaite. Z okien roztacza się widok na las i wzgórza. Breakfast was excellent with loads of choice, the room was clean and tidy, the garden was great to sit in with a glass of wine.

Lakeside Country Guest House is situated in front of Bassenthwaite Lake with mountain views which can be enjoyed from the front bedrooms. It is ideally located between from Keswick and Cockermouth. Loved the location, views and the individual attention. It made us all feel that little bit special. Tim and Karen were really helpful and gave great advice for food places and places of interest.

The owner who greeted us was friendly and pleasant and supplied us with a lovely welcome hamper.
