Aia, tasuta privaatse parkla, restorani ja baariga The Turtley Corn Mill asub South Brenti piirkonnas, 30 km kaugusel Newton Abboti hipodroomist. Totnesi loss on umbes 13 km kaugusel. A wonderful stay, hotel is beautiful [the photos here don't do it justice] staff were friendly and efficient and the room was clean and comfortable.

Nestled in a wooded valley, Gidleigh Park boasts 107 acres of mature grounds, within the wilds of Dartmoor. With an award winning restaurant, this estate is just 6 minutes’ drive from Chagford. Everything! We were so sad to leave. We love travel so have stayed in some amazing hotels across the world (including other Relais & Chateaux properties), but after our stay at Gidleigh Park, we realized this might have been the BEST hotel ever - even including some very special Japanese ryokans. What made it so wonderful: - The staff were all so genuinely nice. We had a lot of odd requests (since I’m pregnant and my husband has very specific dietary preferences), and I’m sure they secretly thought we were total weirdos, but they did a great job covering this up - no request was too strange! Examples: 1.) my husband became addicted to Innocent smoothies during our stay in England and insisted on having some every day (…even in a Michelin-starred hotel), so they kept them in the fridge for us and brought out the bottles whenever he wanted to pour a glass; 2.) I went down each morning to have breakfast but my husband prefers to sleep in, so I would request a takeaway homemade croissant for him. This request alone wasn’t too bad perhaps, but the croissants were so good warmed up, so we would later request to have them warmed right before he ate them - which they kindly did… - The food is SUPERB - I could’ve eaten for weeks straight just at the casual lounge (we’d normally try the formal restaurant too, but saving this for next time when I have fewer pregnancy food restrictions, to fully enjoy!). Best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had, with perfectly poached golden-orange yolks (I’ve only ever seen such perfect eggs before in Japan), sumptuous afternoon tea, truffled cheese soufflé, really good strong pots of Earl Grey and Mini Pu Erh Cake (!) tea, amazing fresh fish and brothy beans… all in a cozy casual living room/conservatory setting where they let you open the patio doors, or sit outdoors (very nice if you’re being extra Covid-cautious while pregnant like me)!

Every meal was delicious, and they were extremely cautious and accommodating toward allergies and dietary restrictions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

East Dart Inn asub Yelvertonis, Newton Abboti hipodroomist 31 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, restoran ja baar. Excellent location within Dartmoor Very friendly and helpful staff Handy Pub with excellent food just downstairs! Recently renovated rooms in excellent condition Seems owners and staff take pride in the place

Village centre Hotel asub South Brentis, Newton Abboti hipodroomist 29 km kaugusel. Kohapeal on ühine puhkeruum, mittesuitsetajatele mõeldud toad, terrass ja Station House, Dartmoor and Coast. Clean, tidy, themed, great location. Atmosphere was great, quiet and very helpful team.

Aia, ühise puhkeruumi, terrassi ja restoraniga The Moorland Hotel, Haytor, Devon asub Haytoris. Selles neljatärnihotellis on toateenindus, ööpäev läbi avatud vastuvõtt ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The room with king bed was extremely comfortable. Everything was spotless. The coffee and tea in the room were delicious. Breakfast was a welcome treat. The location, near Haytor, was perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay there again!

See 12. sajandist pärit mõisahoone asub kuulsa Lõuna-Zeal Menhiri püstikivi ümber. Hoone paikneb kaunis Devonshire'i külas, oma 4 aakri suuruses kloostri aias. You cannot find a more classic beamed place. Gorgeous. Cozy bar, friendly bar. Ask to see the barkeeper’s boat.

Hotell Mill End asub Dartmoori rahvuspargi serval ning pakub loomingulist restorani, elegantseid tube ja tasuta WiFi-ühendust. Hotell asub rohelisel alal, Chagfordi lähedal. Tranquil location near fantastic hiking tracks. Their Cream Tea was the most enjoyable we had in the UK - perfect scones.
