Featuring a terrace and a bar, Vogelkopf Resort is located in Tapokreng. With a garden, the 2-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. Vogelkopf is a young resort nestled within a mangrove forest, with a jetty that extends out to a diverse and well kept house reef, at which we saw a dugong, trumpet fish, banner fish, clown fish, giant clams, and were also told you could see dolphins and turtles at the right time. The sunsets were outstanding and you could hear the songs of Imams echoing across the water (although the resort itself was protected from this noise). Our room was spacious and had great air conditioning. In particular, the bed was extremely comfortable. Vogelkopf is well furnished, and exactly like the pictures. We felt very comfortable and welcome, and ended up staying twice. The owners were very welcoming and helped organise us with a scooter, tour company and scuba dive group. Brezel was a great host and kindly helped us with phone difficulties, providing us with an SD card and aiding with international transfers. Corwyn and Pricilia also drove us into town to explore the local market and fresh produce and also kindly dropped us at the ferry at the end of our stay. Also, Frengklin is a fantastic chef and we always looked forward to our meals, which were included in the cost. This is was the best food we had in Raja Ampat. Special mention to staff Raka and Hadya, who had excellent spoken English and made us feel welcome.

Facing the seafront in Pulau Mansuar, Nyande Raja Ampat has a garden. The accommodation features free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a traditional restaurant. The property is very thoughtfully designed and maintained. For instance, there are freshwater showers outside the water bungalows and spaced out slats in the jetty for the water to drain immediately. The linen and towels were very clean and smelled very fresh. The bread was freshly baked by the owner every morning. The coral life at the jetty is amazing and we could snorkel endlessly.

Mansuar Raja Ampat Bungalows features a garden, shared lounge, a terrace and bar in Kri. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, airport transfers, a shared kitchen and free WiFi. It was our best stay in Raja Ampat, room is super roomy and clean, the little balcony has all you need - a table with cushions, a net and a hammock. And the bungalow is facing the sun in a way that it doesn't get really hot during the day. A huge plus for a place that has no AC. And staff here is just absolutely amazing, Nima and Ringga, they're just amazing human beings that help you arranging your tours and suggesting you what you should do, they also speak perfect English. The shared bathroom and showers are also super clean and quite good quality comparing to our previous Homestay in the region. Also you're 2 minutes snorkel away from the coral reefs where we saw sharks, turtles, cuttlefish, Nemo and plenty other fishes. Would definitely return.

Facing the seafront in Yennanas Besir, Amfriwen Homestay features a private beach area and a garden. The property offers free private parking. The guest house has family rooms. We enjoyed our stay at Amfriwen. The bungalow was clean, had a fan, a mosquito net and a little shelf space. The veranda and the view were amazing. The bathroom was outside and for us one of the better facilities during our stay in Raja ampat. The food was very simple but always enough. We enjoyed our stay and say thank you to the lovely family.

Located in Besir in the West Papua region, GAM BAY bungalow's features a balcony and sea views. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace. Thanks to Aron, the host, it was an exceptional experience during our stay. We've visited almost every location for snorkeling and diving on Raja Ampat (you should pay for the boat). We'd a very diverse menu and a true natural Papua environment.

Situated in Pulau Mansuar in the West Papua region, Terimakasih homestay has a garden. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The property offers sea views. Amazing house reef for snorkelling (with school of fish, beautiful corals, you can see turtles, even sharks). Excursion made by them are great (it is possible to do most of them even for two people for almost the same price) and you can make your own itinerary If you want (don´t miss e.x. Batanta waterfall and snorkelling in Savandarek (don´t go by walk to Savandarek, there are really A LOT OF mosquitoes near a lake)). Mario (owner) is very nice and respond very fast and also other staff is kind. In the evening look to the sea and you will see a walking shark ;) Very clean, good shower, without any insect at all. Hammocks near the restaurant are great (I will try to buy the same at home ;)) Very good place. We were there one week.

Set 500 metres from Saprokren Beach, Raja Ampat Eco Lodge offers accommodation with a garden, a terrace and room service for your convenience. Complimentary WiFi is offered throughout the property. We booked 6 nights in December at the Raja Ampat Eco Lodge. The lodge was fantastic! The bungalows are spacious, clean and beautifully appointed with a very comfortable bed, seating and dining areas and nice lighting. While there isn't air conditioning, the breeze coming from the sea and the large quiet fan made it easy to sleep at night despite warm temperatures. We didn't have any issues with mosquitoes or other bugs either. The food was delicious and varied each day. We loved the fresh juices, curries and vegetables. The house beach is beautiful and the reef has a good variety of fish. We even saw an octopus a couple of times! The owners are lovely and the service provided by the team is professional and kind.

With sea views, TABARI DIVE LODGE is located in Pulau Mansuar and has a restaurant, a shared kitchen, bar, garden, terrace and barbecue. Ive been in RA for 20 days at 3 Hstays. Tabari Location - Great for snorkel and diving sites, with fair priced dive and snorkel tours. T, on south coat of teeny tiny island Merpati, has Stunning ocean vista (with Batanta in distance). T is 15 min from southwest Gam, Arborek, Manta Sandy/Ridge and south Mansuar. Narrow but good beach (can walk almost whole circumference of island at low tide), not too hot at night (but bring usb charged fan). Best of all Lovely breeze, negating huge mozzie or slight dampness issues I had at other places Facilities- 7 cosy, well designed huts, private shower,seated toilet, sink, small veranda with ladder to beach and. Comfy queen bed, great netting but no mozzie worries unlike at bigger islands. Great long pier to snorkel off and view gorgeous sunsets Tours-Owner Jeff has 2 boats, runs mixed snorkel/dive morning and afternoon tours. Onsite dive shop superconveniet, well outfitted (I had own mask,fins). Ave prices with all dives works out less than pricey resorts w similar onsite dives on offer. Jeff and 2 super local dive guides (sighted pygmy seahorse) plus Jeff and 1 amazing snorkel guide Esron (sighted walking shark,scorpion, lion, stone fish all within 20 min on one tour) All work VERY hard to please clients and spot animals. Chat w Jeff when you arrive, what dives on schedule as changes with weather, currents. Homereef- Best of my 3 homestays, 2nd longest and healthiest, good variety of small reef fish, small blacktip sharks and a dugong sighting by a neighbor Food-Best of my 3 Hstays,tasty lasagna or pizza twice of 6 nights I stayed, sometimes fries on side, mostly rice and some veg with easily best quality fish I ate at Hstays. Fruit or cake (after dinner) for dessert, unlimited beverages available at canteen Staff-Super despite limited English. French owner Jeff always smiling, helpful (I fell ill and he was so caring) and nice to guests and staff alike. Cleanest of all my Hstays, staff freshens bathroom daily.
