Jovanka and Alec are extremely welcoming and hospitable hosts. The Black Sheep is clean and comfortable, sits right on the bank of a beautiful river, and has the Glengarriff Nature Reserve as a backyard. Glengarriff itself is a charming little village, the surrounding area of the Beara peninsula is gorgeous!

Lynch's on the Pier se encuentra en Castletownbere, a 3,7 km de Dunboy Castle y a 3,7 km de Puxley Castle, y ofrece restaurante, vistas a la ciudad y wifi gratis. Great location, with parking opposite. Room was spotless, spacious and everything was as I expected. I asked for an early breakfast and it was ready exactly on time, and as arodered. Really hard to fault Lynch's - Maria and Darren are lovely proprietors and nothing is too much trouble.

We arrived ,having had great communication ,with a big welcome and a huge smile (we were biking around The Ring of Beara and so rather sweaty)and immediately a welcome seat and drink were thrust upon us . Mary and John’s attention to every detail were extraordinary. Scrupulously clean and nothing too much trouble.They chatted , engaged and educated us on every level, whilst ensuring we were comfortable. We had a fabulous dinner, including mussels , gathered and cooked to perfection by John himself …..soup , chicken and everything you could wish for . Breakfast ,with many options ,was a nutritious delight. A little piece of paradise . Mary and John invite you into their home and make it your own! Respect and enjoy this true Irish welcome .
