The weather was cold and rainy, so we ate in premises for lunch and dinner, and these were two of our favorite dining meals of the entire trip! Limerick was not a planned stop. The Savoy is a boutique hotel right in the centre of Limerick, between historic King John's Castle and the landmark that is Thomond Park. Our top floor room was unbelievable, really spacious, great views, quiet, comfy beds! The cocktail menu at the bar was very impressive and the breakfast in the morning, really enjoyable.

Kilmurry Lodge Hotel is a family run hotel, ideally located just a 5-minute walk from the University of Limerick and the National Technological Park, Castletroy. Breakfast was excellent. They had all the things we wanted and more. The black current jam was wonderful.
