Dormy Inn Miyazaki Natural Hot Spring is located in Miyazaki, a 17-minute walk from Miyazaki Station and 3.2 miles from Oyodo River Study Center. Came here on a short business trip. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating! They helped me route my trip to bus stations and times. The buffet breakfast was delicious! There were many options including Western and Japanese, especially for non-meat eaters. The best parts of the hotel are the location and the onsens. About a 15-minute walk from the station and directly across from the bus station, it is very easy to travel towards the coast or explore the city's central area. The onsen and sauna were amazing! There are 3 different types of onsens: hot, cold, and outdoor. If you are a foreigner and have tattoos, ask the staff if it's okay for you to cover up. Depending on the size and how many you have, they will most likely allow you to use the facilities. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is a free half bowl of ramen around 9:30-11:30 PM and free cover from 3:00-5:00 PM. I could not have imagined a better stay for my short time in Miyazaki! If you are in the area, I highly recommend it. I hope to make it back here in the near future.

Less than a minute's walk from the West exit of JR Miyazaki Train Station and the expressway bus station (Miyazaki Station), JR Kyushu Hotel offers western-style rooms and a 24-hour front desk. 1. The room was quite spacious, considering that we asked to prepare 3 full-sized beds in the room. 2. I loved that the bus we took from Hakata Station dropped us off directly to the hotel. 3. The hotel is conveniently located - just walking distance from AMU Plaza where there are so many shops and restaurants to go to. There's Beard Papa, McDonalds, a convenience store just downstairs, a supermarket, the bus/train ticketing office, taxi stands. 4. Just a few meters away is the terminal where a shuttle bus will take you to Aeon Mall every 20-30 minutes. So great! 5. The hotel also has a room on each floor which contains a vending machine of drinks and snacks, a microwave oven, a convection oven, and a clothes washer and dryer! I also liked that the tap water is potable. We did not need to buy drinking water. 6. The hotel staff were very accommodating. We checked out at 11 am, but we could not leave until 2 pm. So, they allowed us to keep our luggages (7 pieces!) in a room behind the front desk! I highly recommend this hotel. In fact, I will definitely stay in this hotel again!

For Ghibli fans, the Ghibli shop in Aeon Mall Miyazaki has a bigger range than the museum at Mitaka. Yurakuan Miyazaki gave us a family room with a real authentic, Japanese, little bit retro feel. Really kind and thoughtful staff. A little far to walk to stations but taxis were easy to find and cost 1 - 2 thousand yen to get you to a station or the airport. If you're not a big hotel chain kind of family, would recommend 100%.

Next to the train station in Miyazaki and a short walk (10 mins) to the city center with a lot of restaurants and shops. This hotel is a good place to stay, if you have plans to do travels by train. Due to a lot of travellers, in the mornig it can be a bit noisy on the floor, but its only a small issue. Since it was rainig, it was nice to have a covered arcade between the train station and the hotel 👍. I would stay here again 😄.

We were passing through on our way from Kagoshima to Miyazaki. The location was great. Lots of parking and while it’s on a busy street out of town, there are lots of small restaurants nearby. The breakfast was included and was ample and delicious. Staff was great and gave us the two extra pillows we asked for. The amenities are fine and the room more spacious than so many other Japanese hotels. It was also clean and comfortable.

From Miyazaki station it was a 10 minute train ride to Miyazaki airport. The famous chicken nanban restaurant Ogura Honten is right next to the hotel - you have to try it! Convenience stores 7-Eleven and Lawson are nearby.

The hotel is close to the station if you need it for an overnight stay. Starbucks and 7-11 just round the corner. However you wouldn’t need it for an overnight stay and I’d recommend taking a train to somewhere like Miyazaki.
