This charming thatched villa is just 350 metres from the beach, in the fishing village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle. It offers lush tropical gardens with a pool, hot tub and tennis court. A petite hotel with excellent desing and facilities, villas are very nice and kitchen and cookware were always available. Pool is amazing and the jacuzzi marvelous.

Situated on the beachfront in Punta Mita and boasting barbecue facilities, Hotel La Quinta del Sol has free WiFi throughout the property. Lovely and quiet property located just in front of a nice longboard surf break. The hosts were so warm and welcoming! They offer a great selection of board rentals. The rooftop lounge area offered incredible views. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, and we loved the kitchen area equipped with a good sized fridge, plates, cups, utensils, wine opener, etc. I will definitely stay here again in the future, hopefully for longer next time!

Offering a year-round outdoor pool, barbecue and sun terrace, Villas Jardin Del Mar is situated in Cruz de Huanacaxtle, 32 km from Rincon de Guayabitos. Free private parking is available on site. Great Villa, has 9 rooms and is big enough you feel like you are the only person there. Villa has a history to it and was designed by the original owner that recently passed away. It's a treat to spend days around the pool and using the facilities. Occasionally, iguana comes for a swim as well. You can borrow kayaks and head for the ocean. The water is very calm on this side of the bay. Communication with staff via email was great. 50 minutes walk to Bucerias .25 minutes the other way to marina and few restaurants and basic small grocery store.

These beautiful bungalows offer a private terrace with views over the ocean and rainforest. Set on Punta Mita Beach, they are 50 km from Puerto Vallarta. Staff was exceptional. Location beautiful, food delicious.

Facing the beachfront, Ancora Punta Mita offers 5-star accommodation in Punta Mita and has an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant and bar. The views from the rooftop pool, and our room were exceptional, even from a second floor unit. We have stayed at the St. Regis, but the Ancora is a far better value with better views of the ocean. What is most important to me are the views, location and the quality of the rooms. The Ancora met all of the marks. Our room was very beautiful, clean, etc. It’s a little bit of a cross between a hotel and an Airbnb, and so there is no room service, housekeeping, or towel service, but there is a kitchenette and washer/dryer in the unit, which we really appreciated. There’s also food and drink service at the rooftop pool Tuesday-Sunday. I traveled alone with my three kids between the ages of 7 and 12. We did surfing lessons and rented paddle boards at Micttan Surf. The property is right next-door to a small beach, and another larger beach is less than a five minute walk. All of the best restaurants are right along the same strip within walking distance. We went to Pescadero for dinner multiple times.

Beach and pool were excellent. We stayed in the jungle room which had a beautiful view of the foliage. The restaurants offered a number of vegetarian and vegan options which we appreciated.
