Located in Randsverk in the Oppland Region, 46 km from Gålå, Lemonsjø Fjellstue og Hyttegrend features a terrace and views of the mountain. Room was clean and comfortable with a nice deck to sit outside. Bath had a huge bathtub for an after hike soak. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious

This former farm is in picturesque Lom, close to Jotunheim National Park. It offers traditional Norwegian food, Galdhøpiggen Mountain views and excellent hiking opportunities. The breakfast was very nice. It was wonderful that you they let you take food from the breakfast buffet for our lunches. Very charming atmosphere.

Turtagrø Hotel has traditions dating back to the 1880s. This hotel is located 884 meters above sea level, at the foot of Vest-Jotunheimen. Friendly staff... super clean... middle of the mountains. awesome

I was passing through the area and stayed for three nights. I was immediately captivated by the view of the fjord, then stayed for the excellent food from the kitchen and the lovely staff. if I had the time I would have stayed for a week.

This family-owned mountain lodge is set in the Bøverdal Valley, 25 km from Jotunheimen National Park. It offers an in-house restaurant, private art gallery and individually decorated rooms. The common areas are very comfortable. The outdoor areas were also nice, lots of flowers.

Set in a late 1800s wooden building, this countryside hotel is in Hindseter, 60 km from Otta. The hotel restaurant serves Nordic cuisine with local produce. The hotel is stunningly situated. The suites at the hotel are beautiful with lots of local and historical details. The lounge area with large windows facing the valley is great for chilling out with a local beer in the evening. We only had a short stay but we’re spoilt for choice on the number of hikes from the hotel- they were all well sign posted and we got good advice from reception. Breakfast was in the lovely historic dining room and used local produce. The whole place is very friendly and full of character. Can’t wait to go back!
