Brilliant staff, recommend by a friend Nick to have a bit more soul than other places. The staff here really make it.

Boasting accommodation with a private pool, garden view and a terrace, Ekornredet (The Squirrel Nest) is situated in Kongsberg. The location was excellent as we were so high up in the mountain. There was still some snow which our granddaughter loved. And being so remote it was incredibly peaceful and quiet.

Hytte til leie på Skrim! is situated in Kongsberg and offers a garden and barbecue facilities. the cabin was just perfect! a very nice retreat, right on the lake, peaceful and quiet, so it’s everything you expect from a cabin, but even more)) the hosts were very nice and helpful! we are truly grateful for their hospitality it was a perfect experience for us, and we hope to come back one day and stay for longer!

Boasting river views, Sleep well 2 offers accommodation with a shared lounge and a balcony, around 39 km from Heddal stave church. This accommodation was provided by a wonderful host and it was incredible. A beautiful home in a beautiful peaceful setting close to the river and only 15 minutes walk from the town centre. Way beyond any expectations and I thank my host immensely for her hospitality but also her kindness and care to help me into and around the town. She , Thana, was incredible. :-)

This visit and the accommodation was exceptional and incredible value for money. But above all the host - Thana did everything possible to make the stay so incredible. She went above and beyond what was expected including showing me around her beautiful hometown and where to find things and what to do and what to see, etc etc I could not have wished for a more enjoyable stay or a better place and hosts to have. It was so good I hope to go back in the very near future. :-)
