Basecamp Narvik er staðsett í Narvík. Gististaðurinn er 2,3 km frá Ofoten-safninu og 44 km frá Ballangen-safninu. Boðið er upp á skíðaskóla og bar. I overslept my breakfast due to the fact that I slept sweetly because of comfort. The location is super and the view is no commentary..🙃

Set a 5-minute walk from central Narvik, this hotel offers free on-site parking and free Wi-Fi. Narvikfjellet Ski Centre is just 50 metres away. During Covid, the Budget rooms are not used, and I was given a room at the Thon hotel, which was nice. The breakfast was great! I was looking for something cheaper but found nothing else in the town. So this is not a cheap hostel, but it was very comfortable.

There is a combo clothes washer/dryer and a drying rack, so we were able to do our laundry. This is a big plus in a country with few self-service laundromats. Though there is a laundromat in Narvik, it is only open on Thursdays, and only for a short number of hours.) The bed was comfortable. (Note that if you are two people needing separate bedrooms, you need to notify the owner about that ahead of time because otherwise you may find the other bedrooms locked.) The shower was good (steady temperature, good pressure, and well-enclosed). There was a bathmat. Parking is free and right in front of the house. The location is quiet. The owner lives close by. It is only about a 20-minute walk to restaurants. As advertised, the view is fantastic, especially the sunsets.
