Set amongst mature trees and surrounded by the Southern Alps, this beautifully restored local landmark has been transformed into a resort with outdoor swimming pool, tennis and petanque courts. Beautiful English style hotel with great restaurant ... prestine grounds ... fantastic heated pool .. staff were so friendly and helpful .. perfect stay thank you we thoroughly enjoyed

Set in Amberley, Teviot View Accommodation features a garden. The motel also offers free WiFi and free private parking. Lovely accommodation with all amenities available. Stopped en route south - really easy to get to as just off main highway. Didn’t see much of the area but supermarket and take aways 5 minute walk away. Very quiet.

Built in 2015, Amberley Serviced Apartments offer 2-bedroom self-contained apartments in the country town of Amberley, 200 metres walk from a supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants. The apartment was a beautiful setup, and the owner was lovely. Great option and handy location in Amberley.

Located in the heart of Waipara Valley, Waipara River Estate offers luxury vineyard accommodation in a charming renovated 1920s homestead. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, only birdsong for company! Good facilities, good continental breakfast/ snacks, and a surprise bottle of wine! Very good Wi-Fi, comfortable bed, great bathroom.

Exactly as described and more. Small touches like the owner showing us around the cabin, the platter and fresh eggs from the farm, Towels for the hot springs. Plenty of wood. The most comfortable bed with plenty of blankets to keep you warm.

The St James Premium Accommodation is a 5 minutes’ walk from the Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa, restaurants and shops. Most accommodation overlooks Chisholm Park with views towards the mountains.... Amazing amenities and clean. Close to everything withing Hanmer Springs you won't even need to use your car. The view was also beautiful.

Set on 26 acres, Amuri Estate Luxury Lodge offers accommodation with free WiFi. There is a guest lounge with a fireplace and a large patio offering stunning mountain and river views. This was a highlight of our 3 week journey around the South Island. We would highly recommend going out of your way to stay at Amuri for the quality of the service, the stunning views and the aura of serenity which you cannot help but be taken in by. The cheese platter and wine on arrival was excellent and the kitchen facilities were perfect. Don't even hesitate, book a night (or more!) here and it'll be a highlight for you too.
