Located in Featherston, The Royal Hotel Featherston - Boutique Hotel features a restaurant, bar and free WiFi. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. this was a little gem of a hotel. it has been beautifully refurbished and made a great overnight stop off. the restaurant was also superb. I have food allergies and I could not fault their knowledge and adaptation of the menu to cater for me. if you’re looking for something a bit different to the normal motel stop I highly recommend this hotel

Originally built in 1882, this charming hotel has been lovingly restored to its former glory and features an elegant restaurant and bar. Each room includes satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. The hotel was just beautiful and tastefully decorated with cute tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom was gorgeous and the balcony outdoors was an extra bonus

Beautiful stay in beautiful Martinborough! We were very lucky with the weather and had a lovely day walking from vineyard to vineyard testing the local wines (after our complimentary tasting at Margrain of course!). Though we easily could have stayed in our spacious, comfortable room for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was delicious, the sun soaked the balcony and the bed was very cosy. 10/10 great spot to spend a few nights in wine country!
