Located right on the beach, Hokitika Beachfront Hotel offers rooms with cable TV and en suite bathrooms. It features an on-site restaurant and a bar. Huge room with comfortable bed. Amazing ocean view. Right next to the supermarket and close to town center. Everything was modern and clean.

Featuring free WiFi and free on-site parking, Scenic Hotel Franz Josef Glacier is situated on the edge of Westland World Heritage Park. Great location, amenities and bed was comfy. Staff were very helpful, particularly Akash, who went to great lengths to help get some belongings we left behind back to us which was more than appreciated!

Hokitika Pioneer Hotel is an old style country pub with attached accommodation. With a casino, the property also features a garden. Guests can dine in the in-house restaurant or relax in the bar. Staff were very welcoming and friendly (thank you Sue). Locals hang out at the bar in the evenings which adds a nice vibe to the place. Everything in Hokitika within walking distance.

Located on the west coast of the south island, Theatre Royal Hotel offers a restaurant and a bar. The themed rooms offer antique furnishings and cable TV. Some rooms include free WiFi access. The staff were friendly, cheerful and helpful The Hotel had been successfully restored in a way that acknowledged its past while providing modern facilities.

Opened in 2014 and offering 20 luxurious rooms with free WiFi, Franz Josef Oasis is just 10 minutes’ drive from the Franz Josef Glacier. This is a really beautiful location, out of town and incredibly peaceful. It had a lovely garden with mountains behind.

It is very well designed. close proximity to restaurants and stores and yet very quiet and peaceful. Well maintained.

Located within walking distance from the impressive Fox Glacier, Te Weheka Boutique Hotel offers modern, spacious rooms with satellite TV. Each room has a balcony, overlooking the lush countryside. staff excellent, lovely hotel, quiet, good ammenities and very good breakfast

Surrounded by natural rainforest on New Zealand's West Coast, Te Waonui Forest Retreat is a short drive from Franz Josef Glacier. Guests enjoy free WiFi. A lovely stay for a couple of nights. Complimentary drink and hot towel on arrival is a nice touch. Free bottled mineral water each day we were there. The location is stunning and the staff were are lovely and professional. Close walk to nearby amenities. Only thing that would have made it better is if the spa was opened during winter time.
