Situated in Sukhothai, 13 km from Sukhothai Historical Park, Baan Georges Hotel features air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace. Beautiful swimming pool, and well looked after house. Location was close to main street with amazing chocolate Roti cart just down the road. The breakfast was fantastic, freshly baked bread, and generous helpings of everything. Luc was a very friendly host, he gave us excellent recommendations for places to see and eat, and he took our kids to visit his pet goats. We stayed an extra night in Sukhothai because we loved it so much here!!

Ruean Thai Hotel sijaitsee Sukhothaissa 3 minuutin ajomatkan päässä Sukhothain bussiterminaalilta. Hotellissa on ulkouima-allas ja ravintola. Ilmainen Wi-Fi on käytettävissä koko hotellissa. The receptionist was one of the friendliest people we have met in Thailaand, and was extremely attentive. The staff are attentive even when not needed, and all you have to do is look up and around for one of them to ask you if you need something. This hotel is brimming with old Thai charm, so if you want to stay in an authentic teak house, this is as close as I have seen. The courtyard with the pool was picture perfect. There's even a gift shop with handmade local goods, and the restaurant was fantastic. Beautiful artwork and antiques are all around.

The rice field scenery is calm.

Situated in Sukhothai, 12 km from Sukhothai Historical Park, Jitra Resort features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. For the price, this is a good option. Its located near to the night street market, which we liked, but the town itself does not have a lot to offer in terms of eating and attractions. The historical area is 12km away, 20 mins in a tuktuk 150 baht..... so if you choose here, plan to spend most of your day in the historical part and eat around there too. We noted some of the rooms said cleanliness was not up to standard but our room was fine. There was discolouration on the tiles and wear and tear in the bathroom which may give the impression of looking unclean, but it was ok. The staff are pleasant and helpful, they found us a lovely tuktuk lady who we used to get us around. If you hire a bike, choose the bike hire on the corner before you enter the historical park, its 30baht. Inside the park they are 4 x the price
