Mwi Village House in Mto wa Mbu provides accommodations with a garden and a shared lounge. With lake views, this accommodation provides a terrace. we did not know what to expect as mwi village does not had a lot of reviews. We booked anyway and did not regret it. Later on we discovered that the reason that there were not a lot of reviews (yet) is because he only startrd the accommodation 2 years ago and its not on tripadvisor or facebook yet to have more visibility. Our stay was above our expectations. The accommodation consists of different houses, which are spacious and have a big bathroom. Mr Mwi has a lot of animals which made it even more special. He has built everything himself (over 12 years) and we admire what he did and accomplished. He is super kind, funny and also interested in you as a person. We only stayed 2 nights and regretted that we could not stay 1 night more. There is a very kind girl who makes breakfast and dinner on request. We could choose what we wanted to eat, which was great and much appreciated. In the evening we just stayed with mr mwi, had dinner on the terrace while watching the sunset and the stars. Mr mwi also helped us with some excursions. We went with him to an authentic masaai village close to the accommodation, which was great as he knew the real price (only pay per car) and he protected us from the crazy expensive tourist prices. He can also arrange other excursions such as biking around lake manyara at a very good price. so just tell him what you would like to do and he will arrange it for you. Offering lake views, Manyara's Secret in Mto wa Mbu has accommodations, an outdoor swimming pool, a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. We have spent two nights and a full day at the hotel to make sure we fully enjoyed all it has to offer: - The style of the buildings and decoration are wonderfully tasteful, very comfortable and match well with the natural environment - The food was delicious, with a menu à la carte. Great breakfast as well. When we were the only guests to have lunch, the chef composed our menu with us - The view on the lake and the environment are amazing. We did a nice walk along the lake and saw some animals like impalas, monkeys, birds etc. We even saw a big group of wildebeests just passing down our plunge pool! - I have to finish with what impressed us the most, which was the staff, always nearby but discreet, ready to answer all needs of the guests, they always made sure we were comfortable. On our last day, we had to get up and leave very early, everybody was on deck for check out and to pack us breakfast for the road Thank you to all the Manyara’s Secret team, we will keep great memories thanks to you

Featuring barbecue facilities, Maasai Eco Boma & Lodge - Experience Maasai Culture provides accommodations in Makuyuni. This apartment features free private parking and full-day security. Well-located immersive experience in a visionary setting - the lodges finance a local Maasai school that we could visit, as well as other projects supporting local development, in a holistic and sustainable way. The hosts were extremely friendly, the food at the bonfire was tasty, the huts were traditional yet new and well-kept, and the amenities (water except no hot water, solar lights, etc) were well-maintained and clean. Family with 2 small kids enjoyed the trip on the way to a national park, but we would also return for a longer cultural immersion.
