The beds are comfortable and the rooms are equipped with a fridge and microwave. The property was very quiet and I was able to get rest when needed between working. The staff is friendly, especially Robin, she’s the best!

Since only 1 other place served breakfast with long lines, we were pleased to get a quick meal and be on our way.

Blue Heron Motel is located on the beachfront in Nags Head. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers a private beach area and a 24-hour front desk. Blue Heron Motel exceeded my expectations. The staff is wonderful, the rooms are clean, and have all the household item's you'd want at the beach, but don't want to pack for yourself, like a broom & iron. The linens on the bed were comfortable and clean. The private balcony was a favorite feature. 10/10 for cleanliness, hospitality, & views. Will definitely stay again. Nice pools too!

Heart of Manteo is located in Manteo. All units are equipped with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a fridge, a coffee machine, a shower, free toiletries and a desk. Was quiet. The manager allowed me to check in early.
