Lofts at Sterling & Sage is located in Chama, a few steps from Cumbres and Toltec Railroad. There's a terrace and guests can use free WiFi and free private parking. Charming, upscale decorating. I liked just walking a short walk to the train yard and depot and dining- never needed my car.

Amigo Motor Lodge is located in Salida, 17 miles from Monarch. Each room at the 2-star hotel has mountain views, and guests can enjoy access to a hot tub. It was fun to stay in the airstream and enjoy the peace. The airstream was furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked.

Located in Pagosa Springs, 17 miles from Chimney Rock National Monument, Aspenwood 4220 features views of the garden. Featuring an ATM, this property also provides guests with a playground. The location was perfect. Close to the Golf Course and other activities. Plenty of space for my son and I. We did not spend much time in the facility but we were quite happy. The views were fantastic.

It's clean, beautifully decorated, and offers a wonderful breakfast. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, you can choose from several options, and you can also select your preferred method of preparing eggs.

Featuring an indoor pool, this hotel is a 35-minute drive from Alamosa National Wildlife Refuge. Free Wi-Fi access is available. Parking is provided on site. The break fast wasn’t advertised in the deal but me and my family really enjoyed it. The food was limited but good.

Featuring free Wi-Fi, this hotel is a 5-minute drive from San Juan Mountain & Golf Resort. Each room has a TV with cable channels. A free continental breakfast is served daily. Staff was great, when we left we forgot a backpack, they called until they were able to reach us and we were able to come back and get it (rather than realizing it at home 6 hrs away!). Breakfast was fine, typical cereal, fruit, oatmeal, breads, yogurt and boiled eggs. Rooms are small, nothing fancy but very clean. Mattress was comfortable which is key and the location was perfect, 5 min from downtown Pagosa, yet quiet and away from the hubbub! Great value for the money!
