Wow....we booked the private bungalow and I can't express how perfect it was. It was fully equipped, private pool, luxury furnishings. The hotels location is great for access to Hluhluwe Game Reserve. The staff can help you with all your bookings.

Set within 4.4 km of Umfolozi Country Club and 28 km of Kwambonambi Golf Club, GREEN TREE provides rooms in Mtubatuba. Breakfast I was not informed in advance that the breakfast is not included on my sleep. That I should order the previous day separate. A lady in the morning explained how it works. I was happy, at least I now for next time.

We left early for a safari and they pre-made breakfast for us to go. They booked our full day safari trip for us and transferred us in/out of Hluhluwe town as we ended up having no car - so helpful! They do have a contact for an airport transfer but it was booked up, so just book that in advance if needed! 10/10 recommend 😊

We had an amazing stay. The room was clean and lovely. We could safely park our car inside the gate. The staff was super friendly. Leaving very early was no problem.

Not exaggerating: This truly was the best accommodation of our whole holiday, in every perspective. Nice and spacy rooms with comfy beds, beautiful garden with outside pool, great common areas like living room and bar to meet with other people and fantastic dinner. But most importantly the hospitality of the owners, Jenny and Gavin, was absolutely amazing. They took us in like we were part of their family. They are taking very good care of their guests, preparing the perfect meals even taking into account any complicated allergies, sharing their stories and we had a lot of fun together. I would recommend Wendy’s country lodge to everybody coming to South Africa and this will be the first place I book when I’m visiting South Africa again. The absolute best part of our first visit to South Africa. An experience we can't forget. Warm welcome, our trackers were beyond amazing, our villa was breathtaking with a plunge pool and cabana to soak it all in, and wildlife right outside. We loved everything about it. The boma night that was arranged for our last evening sealed this deal. We spotted giraffes and zebras on route to the villa. This is where the magic started and it continued throughout our stay. Absolutely everything about this safari was well worth every penny. Traveling from Canada with our Infant, we ended our vacation with this trip and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Thank you to all the staff for showing us what living a fulfilled life is all about. This is as close to wildlife and nature as we could get and it was perfect! We can't wait to visit again for much longer. 2 game drives a day, wake up calls available, excellent meals, villas spoke to Africa's culture, outdoor shower was a must, plunge pool overlooking the terrain with giraffes strolling through the area. Wow!

Featuring garden views, Tchagra House provides accommodation with a terrace and a patio, around 18 km from Falaza Game Park and Spa. The location was superb, the house is located in a small game farm but very private. We didn't even get a glimpse of any of the other houses on the farm. The views over the KZN bushveld were fantastic and animals roam close to the verandah of the house.
